(Cust is trying on a Shock Absorber D+ sports bra in a changing room)

Cust: (pops head out of the door) can you check this?
EM: sure...

(EM goes into the room with her)

Cust: its a bit small in here... what do you think of the fit?

(Cust has a 36F on. She was trying on a 36E but another fitter got her the bigger cup size previously. Cust has it on the tightest hook and has the straps extended as far as they will go)

EM: hmmm... I'm just going to put it on the loosest hook, and sort out the straps (EM tightens them up) lets have a look round the front?
Cust: It's too loose now...
EM: ok...
Cust: (Keeps shrugging shoulders) and the straps are far too tight...
EM: ok, well I can loosen them off again...

(Cust turns round and EM puts the straps back to their full extension. Cust then turns back and faces EM, the cups are sagging)

Cust: yes, thats better but this is too loose. I need it on the next hook in or even the tightest
EM: well, if you do that, when it stretches you wont have anywhere left to tighten it and it would be too big. If you do that you might as well have a 34...
Cust: I've had a 34 and it was too tight, I couldnt turn it round
EM: ok, then if its more comfortable stick with the 36 but as it is its not going to hold you as well as it could. This one works on compression so it needs to be fairly firm
Cust: are you saying I need a 34?
EM: (winces) yes...
Cust: ok, I'll try it...

(EM comes back with a 34FF and the Royce Impact Free sports bra)

EM: heres the 34 (in the Shock Absorber) and I've brought this one in a 36 as its got a deeper band it should hold you better in that size
Cust: ok, thank you

(Cust tries them on and then pops her head out again. She has the Shock Absorber one on)

EM: that looks better
Cust: do you not think its tight?
Em: (pulls out the sides, there's a a lot of stretch) theres room in here and it looks like the front is holding you now. How did you get on with the other one?
Cust: there was too much bounce in that one. So you think I should have the 34?
EM: for it to do what it should do then yes but if you're happier in the 36 then take that one
Cust: (pulls out the underband) they have changed this, there is more elastic in it its not as tight as the one I have at home
EM: well, this one is two cup sizes bigger than your one, because its not having to fight round your boobs that might be helping too loosen it off...
Cust: NO! the problem is not here! (points at boobs) they have changed the style! (pulls at underband again) they have changed the design!
EM: (suddenly realises whats going on) Oh, they do a differnt style...
Cust: yes, its been updated as there's not as much elastic in it
EM: No, we do still do that one. This is a different style completely...
Cust: oh...
